I have the exhaust hose for a window kit, the oblong diffuser listed here, but NOT the unit dummy coupling B that attaches other end of hose to unit. Off the instructions the part no. is K1842884 but search here says not found. Ordered a part that was supposed to be compatible but the thing is the couplings on this old Hisense portable a/c conditioner SCREW on to the threads of the hose. The replacement coupling that I received has no threads for the hose but some kind of clips. I know it's an old unit but obviously the parts are still being manufactured and I know there are kits that have the two appropriate diffusers and the hose but If they are making the diffuser I need for kits I should be able to get the one diffuser I need by itself. Please help me I feel I'm getting the runaround.
